Besides our standardized, in-stock products, the JELCO sales team can also work with resellers or end users to design a one-of-a-kind solution to meet your specific or unique audiovisual transport requirements. JELCO offers 3 different types of construction including ATA 300, ABS plastic or Economy ABS plastic travel cases.  Each option provides different benefits some of which are the highest level of protection (ATA 300), a lighter weight solution (ABS), or the most economical option (Economy ABS).

ATA 300, Category 1 Shipping Case:

• These ruggedly-built, reusable shipping cases are built to endure multiple shipments via common carrier or as checked airline baggage while safely protecting the delicate equipment inside.
• Constructed of 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" plywood with an exterior ABS plastic laminate.
• Interior is lined with foam customized to fit your specific pieces of audiovisual equipment.
• Includes a hinged lid with two steel lid stays or a lift-off lid
• Includes option for your choice of wheels:
  • Tilt wheels
  • 3.5” non-locking casters
  • 4x1 locking casters
  • 4x2 locking casters
  • 6x2 locking casters
  • No wheels
• Includes option for your choice of lock:
  • Combination lock
  • Key lock latches
  • Padlock latches (not recommend/not covered under warranty)
  • No lock
• Includes option for your choice of color:
  
  • Gray (standard)
  • Black
  • Other

ABS Plastic Travel Case:

• Similar in appearance to our ATA 300 cases but lower in weight and cost
• ABS plastic cases are recommended for local use or transport within one's own vehicle.
• Can occasionally be used for checked baggage; but are not recommended for shipping via common carrier.
• Constructed of ABS plastic
• Interior is lined with foam customized to fit your specific pieces of audiovisual equipment.
• Includes a hinged lid
• Includes option for your choice of wheels:
  • Tilt wheels
  • 3.5” non-locking casters
  • 4x1 locking casters
  • 4x2 locking casters
  • No wheels
• Includes option for your choice of lock:
  • Key lock latches
  • Padlock latches (not recommend/not covered under warranty)
  • No lock

• Includes option for your choice of color:

Economy ABS Plastic Travel Case:

• As our least expensive custom case solution, our economy ABS travel cases are a terrific solution for transport or storage within the same building or across town in your own vehicle.
• Economy travel cases are generally not recommended for checked luggage or for shipping via common carrier.
• Constructed of ABS plastic
• Interior is lined with foam customized to fit your specific pieces of audiovisual equipment.
• Includes a removable lid fastened with nylon straps and buckles.
• Includes option for your choice of wheels:
  • Tilt wheels
  • 3.5” non-locking casters
  • 4x1 locking casters
  • 4x2 locking casters
  • No wheels
• Economy cases do not have a lock option.
