INFOCOMM 2004 --- JELCO Inc. is expanding its line of mobile EZ-LIFT ® products. The innovative EZ-LIFT ® system for large flat screen displays will now be offered in wood veneer and plastic laminate cabinets called the EZ-LIFT Elite Series. These beautiful cabinets will look right at home in corporate conference rooms, courtrooms and hotel ballrooms. Customers will be able to choose from a line of standard wood veneers and plastic laminates. Custom finishes and laminate choices will also be offered. All cabinets will feature BOSE ® Speakers built into the face of the cabinet.

Versatility
The JELCO EZ-LIFT system is a unique mobile solution for large flat screen displays. JELCO has built the EZ-LIFT, which acts as the stand for the display, into the cabinet. Simply pull the lock release and the EZ-LIFT mechanism gently raises the mounted large screen display into viewing position. When finished, lower display and lock into the down position for storage or to safely move to another location. When in the down position, the monitor is protected from knocks and scratches. No electrical power is needed. The EZ-LIFT can easily be moved from room to room with only one person. 

The EZ-LIFT system will also be offered in a powered version with RS232 computer control capabilities. This proprietary design is just as easy to use as the manual system, simply press the up key and the EZ-LIFT will quietly raise the display. Press the down key and the EZ-LIFT quietly lowers display back into case.

Built-in Sound Solution
For the ultimate all-in-one solution, a built-in speaker system will be included. “JELCO’s commitment to offering the finest built-in sound solution has led us to the BOSE® Corporation, the most respected name in sound. Their commitment and passion for innovation in developing unique sound solutions has allowed JELCO to bring a unique sound experience using the BOSE proprietary Acoustimass® speaker technology and Articulated Array® speaker design,” says Ed Elliott, President of JELCO. “Inside each speaker cabinet you have two speakers that are precisely positioned to provide a large, consistent sound field for a cinema-like experience. The effect is rich, spacious sound that seems to flow out of the EZ-LIFT cabinet”. 

Warranty
To assure the quality of its system, EZ-LIFT’s are made in the U.S.A. and are backed by a 5-year warranty.

Sizes
EZ-LIFT is only available built into a cabinet from JELCO. Stock laminate cabinets will be available for 42” and 50” size monitors. All other sizes and wood veneer cabinets will be custom order.

Pricing and Availability
The EZ-LIFT Elite Series of finished cabinets will start shipping by the end of June, 2004 at suggested retail pricing starting at $4,250.

JELCO has been manufacturing the EZ-LIFT® plasma shipping case with built-in gas lift since the Spring of 2003 and has shipped them around the world; many of them being used by the U.S. military as field-deployable cases.

The benefits of these cases are manifold: one person can roll into place and raise the monitor into position, thus lessening the need for 2 people and the likelihood of damage to the monitor from dropping or injury to the presenter from lifting.

Since manufacturing our initial EZ-LIFT® plasma cases, JELCO has also designed and manufactured gas-lift cases to transport SMART interactive white boards and 3M's proprietary Wall Display white board with built-in multimedia projector.

New to JELCO's line-up of EZ-LIFT® cases this year is the "Elite Series" utilizing either the traditional gas-lift mechanism or our new electric motorized version installed in an attractive cabinet suited for an executive boardroom or hotel meeting room.
